Welcome Back?

So it’s been a minute since I’ve put out a podcast, but I’d really like to change that. All three of my jobs have calmed down lately, and with the advent of so many recent catastrophes around the world, from the Air India flight 171 crash to the UPS MD11 crash, there’s definitely still a need to keep going with the podcast.

That’s what I’m trying to do.  Nothing big, but I’m clearing the cobwebs in order to put out at least one podcast episode per month.

I’ve got an idea for the next podcast which’ll be recordered and released soon, but I’d like to take the time to let people know that not only am I back, but I’m taking requests. You can respond to this message, or you can go to the What Would You Like To Hear? post and leave your thoughts there. Sometimes decision paralysis gets to be too much, so having suggestions really does help.

Finally, I did want to touch on that UPS plane crash (UPS flight 2976) – specifically this image that came out from a nearby camera:

UPS flight 2976, an MD11 that crashed in November 2025. This is a series of images that show the number 1 enging (left wing engine) comes off, flips over the top of the wing, and lands on the runway just as the plane is taking off.

Notice that the left engine detatches, flips over the wing, and then lands on the runway while the plane continues to take off while on fire? What does this remind you of – anything? If you said American Airlines flight 191 out of Chicago from 1979, you would be right. This crash is eeriely like that crash from 46 years ago (if you’d like a refresher, click here to go to the podcast) so much so that if it comes out mechanics performed the same forklift maneuver on this engine, this crew died for the same reason those 273 people in Chicago died almost 50 years ago – shoddy maintenance.

We’ll wait for the report to come out. In the meantime, be well, leave me some suggestions on what you’d like to hear, and the next podcast should be here before you know it.
