Today’s podcast is on a catastrophe that’s relatively unknown in the realm of airline crashes and catastrophes, but the effects as a result of the investigation into the crash is something that we can see, and live with to this day.  As a matter of fact, you basically pay honor or tribute to all those involved in the crash of Delta Airlines flight 954 and North Central Airlines flight 575 every single time you get on an airplane!

As usual, you can download the podcast from this link, find us on iTunes at this link, or listen to the podcast in the below player.

  1. X controller

This crash should have never happened. The controller who misunderstood where Delta was, was not qualified to work the position he was working in this type of weather. The supervisor took the visibility incorrectly and we were really below the proper visibility for take offs. The North Central should not have been cleared for take off.

My father was also a survivor of this plane crash. I would like to find more information pertaining to this. A movie should be made about what happened. It would be nice to hear from someone that had been through this. My father was on a leave from the Army, too spend time with his family in northern Wisconsin. My father is still alive. Any questions please email me.

I wouldn’t mind speaking with your father about the crash. I have not been in contact with any other survivors of this crash. Thanks for posting this. Contact me at THO2@comcast.net with your information or your father’s information.
